One Degree Makes All The Difference

One small degree wouldn’t seem to have much power, but consider: at 211 degrees water is hot – at 212 it boils – boiling water makes steam, and steam can power a locomotive.

In Olympic races .71 seconds is all that separates a Gold Medal from no medal at all.

Each of us has something, a talent, a passion, an attitude, that could take us from “good” to “great” if we applied just a small extra degree of effort. It is my challenge to each member of the Rochester Chapter of IAAP this year to find that something, to give the extra 1 degree – of time, of effort, of themselves so that we as a Chapter, and each individual can not just reach, but exceed our goals!
